Marion Chesney is one of my favorites; I think her Miss Pym may be my favorite returning character in a series of Regencies. I can remember feeling as she does, that I was destined to live alone. I also love watching people whilst I traveled by bus. In Belinda Goes to Bath, I liked both the main love interests and actively rooted against the oh-so-proper miss that the Marquess thought he ought to marry. I loved Hannah's machinations to throw the proper couple together. While you don't have to have read the first book in the series, it does add some depth to Hannah Pym's character. This book is highly recommended for people who like their Regencies light, witty, and clean. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
New York Times-bestselling author; If anyone can persuade an independent-minded heiress and a marriage-averse marquis to give in to love, it's Miss Pym ... The delightful Miss Hannah Pym returns to the English countryside in distress and in search of adventure and romance. No sooner does Miss Pym board her next stagecoach than she finds herself embroiled in the plight of Miss Belinda Earle; a spirited heiress banished to Bath after swearing off the marriage market. When the coach founders near Baddell Castle and the dashing Marquis of Frenton comes to the rescue, Miss Pym decides to give Fate a hand. Although the austere bachelor disdains romance, his furtive glances towards Belinda prove to Miss Pym that her expert matchmaking will soon turn this star-crossed couple into a heavenly match.
