A great book about diversity and moving.

This book is the story about a child who immigrates from a Spanish Speaking country to an English speaking country. The book follows along the child narrating the story and explaining how there are differences in the foods they eat, the words they say, how they greet one another, and so on, but despite the differences people have we can all be friends.

Critique: This was a very artistic and creative example of an informational book telling about the differences between someone who lives near the south coast (Mexico area) and speaks Spanish and one who lives here near the northern coast

I would recommend this book. I think it could be an important resource in the classroom. This could be supplemental to a class discussion about various cultures.
