There is a reprint of this book printed in January 2005 but I read the book from 1989 when Japan was on the verge of taking overtaking the United States and the Internet was just something that Al Gore used. 

It is old but still a lot of good advice in this book. The tone is matter-of-fact and bordering on in-your-face. He won me over when he said that when you’re selling something, you should keep what you’re selling separate from whom you are: because honestly, we are lousy products.

After typing in the (very long) table of contents, I'm having my doubts about this book.

It was not as bad as I thought it might be. I agree with some of the other reviewers who say that some of the information may not be as relevant today as it was at the time this book was written. ( )

Another original, unique, independent piece of work that offers extra skills to life. I highly recommend this book. ( )

Written in a way where each lesson is short and to the point allowing you to go back to any section to reflect on your favorite areas. The developer of the Mackay 66 has created some great advice for salespeople and job seekers everywhere. Keep this book close at hand and refer back to it constantly! ( )

Two incredible men have been mentors to me throughout the years. My late father, Jack Mackay, was an exceptional journalist whose invaluable life-lessons have always guided me. He left giant footsteps in which I've tried to walk.

Rudy Miller, may father-in-law, is a one-of-a-kind entrepreneur, gentleman, and humanitarian whose genuine zest for life has energized our entire family. If there's a better businessman anywhere in the country, I've yet to meet him, and I still can't believe my good fortune in becoming his "son" when I fell in love with his daughter.
