Great for Kindergarten. Wegman creates an interesting, innovative way to teach kids the alphabet. The dogs bodies form the shape of each letter, and they're also dressed up or doing something funny in each of the pictures. In the classroom: this would be a fun way to teach students alphabet recognition. The interesting pictures and text would surely keep them engaged.

I really enjoyed this book and the dogs are just precious! I would definitely read this book to my younger children because it is such a creative way to teach and represent the ABC's. It could put pictures in their minds of the way the letters are formed so they can advance when writing the alphabet. ( )
