I picked it up at first glance, and I'm really satisfied to have it on my reading shelf. I lost myself in this book and loved every minute of it. I'm glad I read this book over the weekend because it was more of a leisurely read about an entirely made-up universe.Well-balanced science fiction from several historical periods is found in this book. It is both unique and appealing to readers because of the lovely artwork, font, cover page, and dialog delivery style. The action drama, plot, and subplots centered on the duty of knights in defending the populace will undoubtedly appeal to readers. It becomes more intriguing when two planets battle each other. I was overjoyed to discover Michael and Archangel's surprising final choice. Overall, the read is compelling, and the pictures enhance its vividness. Without a doubt, I would read this book to my children and introduce them to this extraordinary world. A unique reading experience indeed, The Seventh Spark: Volume 1 by J. B. Lion promises an otherworldly experience so extraordinary that fans of the genre will be left dumbfounded by the sheer brilliance Lions bestows on his readers in this uniquely written graphic novel. Besides being an amazing work of art, the novel's plot is equally as impressive, with the classic good vs evil theme at the center. Planet Thornton is at risk of being destroyed by evil beings from other parts of the galaxy. Sin has taken over and corrupted mankind, and it is up to the Guardians of the realm of man, the Knights of the Trinity, to save man from eternal destruction. The characters Lion created were both scary and fascinating; a spiritual being with five malevolent heads conjoined to its body is beyond frightening and thanks to J. B.'s unique style of writing, I was not only able to read about this awful creature but see it with my own eyes! I thoroughly enjoyed this epic novel and recommend it to fans of sci-fi and fantasy. This isn’t a book that is in a genre I would typically pick, but it caught my attention, and I am so glad it did. This book is unique in that it combines reading, graphic novel elements, and comic book elements. The book is so visually pleasing with the nice colors, the font used for the text, and seeing the characters really come to life in the illustrations. The pictures of the characters are so well done. It is amazing what you can tell about the characters by looking at their facial expressions, their outfits, and their coloring; all of which make the stories even more intriguing. The human ones look so realistic such as Armin the Wise, the picture of him almost looks like a portrait painting. I absolutely enjoyed reading this book! The beautiful and different cover page made me purchase this beautiful book, and I am thrilled with my decision. I thoroughly enjoyed and engrossed myself in this book. I am glad I picked up this book on my weekend, as it was more of a relaxing read about a whole new fabricated world. This book is a balanced blend of science fiction set in different eras. The beautiful illustration, font, cover page, the way of delivering dialogs—everything makes it unique but also attractive for the readers. The readers can definitely enjoy the plot and subplots around the role of knights to protect the people and their action drama. The fight between two planets makes it more interesting. I was thrilled to learn of the unexpected decision taken by Michael and Archangel at the end. The read is overall gripping, and the illustrations make it more vivid. I would definitely share this book with my kids and take them on the journey of this unique world. aucune critique | ajouter une critique

Now, to the story. As I mentioned, it reminded me of a game-style story. The author even mentions a few games and high-fantasy books/movies as his inspiration. Such as LOTR, Final Fantasy, and Legend of Zelda. The underlying issue is about good and evil, but how it is carried out is what makes this book special. In addition, There are quite a few characters in the story, so if you find it hard to keep up with the names, the images will be there to help you! The author also includes a list of the characters at the end of the book.
I really like how the author writes a letter to the reader. We understand the pressure and effort that took place in order for J.B. Lion to publish this book. It is a goal many of us hope to achieve one day. (
