Nice try but a little too disjointed and under-done for me to get too excited, or to recommend. ( ) I liked this book for two reasons. First, I liked it because the language was repeated which kept the story predictable and organized. On each page, the author explains what activities all the other wolves are learning in school, but then ends each time by saying “But not Rufus.” Second, I liked the book because of the illustrations. They enhanced the story, and create humor in a visual manner. For example, all the other wolves practiced wearing disguises and the author expresses that many were quick learners, except for Rufus who is shown all tangled up in a nightgown in the illustration. This illustration gives the reader a visual of Rufus’ struggle with the disguise, and even made me laugh. Although Rufus doesn’t seem to put much effort into the Wolf Academy, I think the main idea was bigger than school. To me, the main idea was to be who you are, not who everyone is or wants you to be. At the end, Rufus saves the day just by being who he is. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
