Some of what he was talking about was new to me - in fact, I don't know that any of the answers he was expecting have (or haven't) been found. The first part, where he's discussing mathematics more-or-less abstractly or historically, are interesting. Near the end he starts saying that he expects this or that to be solved 'in the next ten years' - book written in 1975 (or so). A lot of his expectations of computers were (like most such) way way too pessimistic; others (like how they were going to solve insoluble problems) were way too optimistic. Interesting read, but not one I'll reread regularly, I don't think. ( ) aucune critique | ajouter une critique
