"We have all experienced miracles. An incredible chance encounter that changes everything...help that suddenly appears from nowhere...kindness handed to us when it is least expected. In Christmas Miracles, Karen Kingsbury presents real-life stories about people whose lives were changed by the wonder of Christmas. Every December we look back and marvel at the design of God and see His fingerprints at work in our lives over the past year. Then, with hearts full of hope, we wait in expectation for the miracle of that holy, silent night." --… (plus d'informations)

Lovely little stories of miracles. Great for the season, though I think they will work any time. Sweet book. Not quite as wonderful as the Mysterious Ways from Guideposts, but a close runner up. ( )

Mistletoe Miracles!

This is a collection of true stories, miraculous events, that took place during the Christmas season.

Many lovely stories will be found between the covers. For instance, there is the time a perfect gift appeared for a little girl who desperately needed a friend. In another case, a plane that was in trouble was only able to land with the help and encouragement from an employee in the airport tower. Experience the surprise the pilot did when he wanted to thank him.

All the stories are good, but the story that touched my heart was from the author, Karen Kingsbury. She relates a series of miracles that took place after the death of her father.

This little book is hardbacked and would be a great gift, or you might not be able to give it up, and keep it for yourself. Although these events take place during Christmas time, the book will be appreciated throughout the year. The stories can be read all at once, or stretched out to be enjoyed over time. Fans of true miracle events will love this five-star book!

Thank you, Worthy Publishing, for providing Tickmenot with a book to review. Opinions are my own. ( )
