I read the second of this series first. The heroine in this book was very strong and I really liked her. Unlike in the other book, the heroine here tries to find out about the aliens. Instead of assuming they think like humans, she askes questions. The sci fi element of the story is very strong. The romance, not so much. It was almost not there. The book should have been twice as long. Just when they threw off the yolk of the alien oppressors and it was time to deal with the relationship aspect, she basically said "and they lived happily ever after." There were some sex scenes, not a lot if you're thinking this is erotica it isn't. It was vaguely a menage story but that was slighted as well. I'm not talking about sex scenes but rather the 3 of them working things out. She told you enough to let you know that permanent menages were not the usual for any of the participants and then dropped the ball. One of the guys basically had a crush on the heroine and his emotions were not realistic at all. So good sci fi stuff, pretty lame romance stuff. This author usually does better at that part. Oh well, they can't all be winners every time. ( )

Hot Aliens

I really enjoyed Alien Enslaved, it was so different from anything I have read, I found the heroine Bri a very pragmatic sort, she definitely wasn't stupid and I loved the fact that her problem solving skills were of the make the best of the situation sort, Very refreshing. Kole and Dansk's were two very hot hirachi aliens so very different but oh so virile, can't blame Bri one bit for wanting both and little Cory what a sweetie, this was a very enjoyable tale. ( )
