The storytelling is very juvenile, and the artwork only hints at the future greatness that Kirby would achieve. Still, it's impressive to see the roots of all the ideas that would come to fruition throughout the years. Honestly, depending on your level of enthusiasm, you could just jump to Volume 2 of the series, when both the writing and art takes a huge leap forward in quality. ( ) The first 30 issues (plus an annual) of the groundbreaking superhero team. For modern comic fans, it may be difficult to imagine just how different the FF were. A team that fights with each other? Members leave in anger? Actual relationships between main characters, and superheroes that weren't only children? There was, literally, nothing like the Fantastic Four being published at that time. The FF were Marvels' flagship line in the wave of soap opera superheroes. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
