My Thoughts:
This book by Manohar Grandhi, titled ' My Sleepless nights ', is an account of a soul's chronicles of sleepless nights literally. The reasons that result in sleepless nights are negative thoughts and emotions like anxiety, fear, failure and realisation and are explained. The author in this book explains how each sleepless night has made him understand the inner self.
Any reader who is a victim of sleeplessness due to the new age lifestyle can relate themselves with the contents in the book. In this book, he also explains how the human nervous system reacts and responds to improper and proper sleep rituals.
The book also has a different way of explaining changing oneself and one's thought process about sleep. In one of the chapter, the author has picked up short stories that demonstrate the mind and its thought process. The book is written in simple language, and a reader of any age can read the book.
Also, the concept of meditation, few habits to be inculcated, and tasks to be done for a better sleep pattern that results in a better lifestyle and health are add-ons.
