Recommended read. ( ) 4115 Who Killed the Red Baron? The Final Answer, by P. J. Carisella and James W. Ryan (read 3 Jan 2006) Back on Apr 16, 1973, I read The Day the Red Baron Died, by Dale Titler. That book, like this one, concludes that the Canadian Captain Brown did NOT shoot down Baron Manfred Von Richthofen on that famous day: 16 Apr 1917, when the Red Baron died. One of the authors of this book spent years in his research, and went to where the Red Baron had been buried--thinking the body had been removed to Germany in 1926. To his astonshment, he found most of the body still in the original grave. This book was not as interesting to me as it would be to one intensely interested in the event, but it does tell the story of the Red Baron in great detail. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
An exciting new investigation of the Red Baron's death presents newly discovered documents that overturn the conventional theory of von Richthofen's demise. Featuring thrilling re-enactments of hair-raising duels between fragile fighters of World War I. Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |
