This book would be good for primary or intermediate students. This book is "Jump In" written and illustrated by Shadra Strickland and published in 2023. This book is really fun to read. It shows a bunch of kids playing at recess and they all take turns jump roping and it shows a bunch of different races, abilities, ethnitices, etc. and it just shows that everyone should be allowed to play and jump in with everyone. I would for sure have this in my class as it is a book that teachers kids that we need to play with everyone and that the world is diverse and should be celebrated. It could also be taught to older kids about how to write rhythmic writing.

This book is about a group of students who are doing jump rope at their school. Not only are there students of all grades/ages but even some of the teachers join in too! I would recommend this book to kindergarten through second or third grade.This age group would be the best fit because these students would understand the fun of including everyone in a game and they would also appreciate the aspect of jumping rope in general.

I love the ENERGY of this book.
