Trigger warnings: Death of a sister, grief and loss depiction
7/10, this was a good romance story, but in the end, it was really heartbreaking. The main characters really developed an attraction with one author, developing their characters, which I really liked. These characters were so distinct from one another, one is a swimmer, and another is a poet, but somehow, they still fell in love. I also liked the poems Ray wrote, I thought it was very unique when she made beautiful poems out of existing literature, especially The Great Gatsby. The end however, was very emotional, as the characters discovered that Orion's sister was hit by a bus, and somehow, Ray's father was killed, and these incidents were related? Seems more like a coincidence to me, but that was the reason they broke up, which was sad. All the astronomy references in the book were a nice touch. If you like a YA romance story, this is the book for you. ( )
