Chargement... Show Me (Extracurricular Activities Book 3)par Neve Wilder
![]() Aucun Actuellement, il n'y a pas de discussions au sujet de ce livre. I was super exited for this, because Want Me is pretty much my favorite light hearted romance out there. The first half of this was pretty great. Gave me a good chuckle and I really liked the dynamic between Sam and Jesse. The premise was also pretty funny, and Sam and Jesse's shenanigans were pretty hot. The second half started flagging for me, mostly due to the lack of tension. I love a happy ending, but I felt like the couple got there a little too soon for a romance storyarc. The "conflict" of Reid's existence was barely there at all, and I lost interest in the sex scenes (I'm not generally a big fan of reading established relationships, because in my brain the sex becomes boring.) It just felt a little like Wilder ran out of steam a little, with the second half, and just wanted to give the couple a sickly sweet happily forever after, even though a happy for right now would have suited a college romance better. However, this is still top tier romance, and it gets a litte bit harsher than usual rating because I can't not compare it to Want Me, which is amazing. I just wanted to sample it but then one-clicked. :) Started really good. I like the writing. It's not that different, just a word here, a phrase there, but it makes it sound new or not like something I read a thousand times in other books. And I was enjoying it for the most part. Sexy, and the humor was a bonus for me. Jesse is a cute twink and Sam a hunk of a football player. There is some kink too and... well there is porn, kinda. The second part, or more like the last few chapters was more generic with the usual drama. Which I really didn't need and I felt exasperated. 3.5 stars aucune critique | ajouter une critique
