WHAT A THRILLING NOVEL! I could hardly read fast enough! I loved Calandra Menankara's curious mind and her devious ways to get her way as she suffered with brittle bones and it kept her stuck being an astronomer instead of traveling to foreign planets, but discovering a probe from a place called Earth, she played all of her cards right to go to Earth! I found Xxtta, a master pilot to be a tad too boyish, but he had a good heart and he stuck to his best friend's side when he was charged with the deaths of his crew when it was the fault of big corporations and he was blamed. It was a little weird when Calandra and Xxttra went to the city in search of who sent the probe and ended up at a tailgate football party that they never understood, but then they had to fight for their lives as Earth people wanted them all dead! Alien People is filled with twists and turns with nonstop action and bitterness from the crew. ( )
