The hero known as Iron Head has brought peace to a world plagued by superheroes, confining their battles to arenas in WWE-style matches. As he dies, he passes control of his foundation to his daughter, Alexia Ross.

Alexia has super strength, but would rather help people in the street than become a star in the gladiatorial bouts. Unfortunately, she lacks the confidence to cross her father's wishes. Enter the Black Hand, a young woman with mental powers who feels Iron Head has wronged her by jailing her mother and denying her rightful legacy. The two immediately clash, but hey, this is comics, so of course they're forced to work together to find out who is stealing from Iron Hand's well-endowed foundation. So . . .

She's innocent, naive, and White. She's angry, determined and Black. Together, they're detectives.

Bickering, fighting and explosions ensue.

It's supposed to be action-packed and humorous, but I was bored.

I notice that the book has not only a translator but a "script tutor" and five people credited with "adaptation for the American audience." I'd like to know what that exactly entailed, and how all those cooks contributed to this weak broth. ( )
