This DK Children's book is an excellent read. It is very engaging and will keep you entertained. Each page shares an aspect about the universe. Things like planets, comets, solar systems are covered throughout the book. The illustrations are second to none. The pictures really bring the book to life. Children will find themselves reading and learning for hours. ( )

I first encountered this book at my local library and found it was one of those books I simply had to own. The cover and the gold trimmed pages were so beautiful, I immediately bought it from my local bookstore. It's filled with stunning color illustrations and so many facts about the universe. I would love to gift this book to many of the kids in my family. The illustrations are stunning and the content is presented in a language that children can understand without oversimplifying the information. I would even encourage parents to read it along with their kids, they might learn a thing or two they did not know before. I sure did! ( )
