This was a decent, but not out of the ordinary, document about the nature of the psychoanalytic movement. Freud's usual ingenuity and expressive style is not present here. Instead, it is written very formally and stiffly and that is the main complaint about it. It seems to have no spirit to its core. Overall, still useful for reading but not among the best of his work.
