Each story is well-written with steady pacing and interesting characters. Saving Sarah by Melissa Storm is extra special with the addition of a beautiful Golden Retriever. Loves Wonderful Life by Becky Muth has Dolly and Travis Jones going through a rough time after Travis experiences a tragedy. They will need their faith to get them through this tough time. It is a poignant story. Loves Lasting Promise by Vickie Carroll is a wartime story featuring a pilot and a nurse. I found this to be an engaging historical romance. No Time for Goodbyes by Christina Butrum is a touching tale from the No Brides Club series. It can be read as a standalone. Brooke Collins must return home when there is an emergency where she runs into firefighter, Austin. Sparks fly between these two. Moving from Maryland by Christine Sterling is part of The Pioneer Brides of Rattlesnake Ridge series. Gracie worked hard to become a doctor and now she has a position in Rattlesnake Ridge. Barrett thought he had found the perfect man to be the town’s new doctor. Then he learns it is a woman and wants to replace her. This is a humorous story. Mommy Loves the Doggy Doctor by Deb Kastner is from the Mommy’s Little Matchmakers series. Ashley is a widow who is raising her daughter, Gwenny by herself. Gwenny is in a wheelchair from the same accident that took her father. When Gwenny falls in love with a Dalmatian puppy, her mother cannot say no. Luke is the local vet with a matchmaking mother. Gwenny teams up with Luke’s mother to get the pair married. It is a fun and amusing story. I enjoyed reading all six stories in this collection. These stories are a delightful way to while away the hours. ( )
