This second book in the series is filled with surprises, tears, screams, deceptions, back stabbing and heart pounding moments. It will keep you on the edge of your seat with every chapter, it never rests. I lost a lot of sleep, I just couldn't put it down. Then there is a cliffhanger ending that will have you counting down the days till the next book. Don't fret it coming soon, Touch of Death will be released in December 2013.

Both of them face, death, fighting, betrayal, and fear. There are battles, serious ones. There is also a great adventure with new discoveries that are amazing. They are reunited with friends and foes from their past.

As an herbalist, I greatly enjoyed this fantasy. Willadene escapes a life of drudgery at her aunt's inn with the help of a local herbalist. She uses her unique talents to assist the herbmistress. ( )

This is really a bad book. It's dull, it's long, the wording is consistently awkward, and there are issues with logic and continuity. I am putting this in my "sell" pile, but I really wonder if I should throw it out/recycle it instead. No one should waste their time reading this book.

I understand the author has put out some great stuff over the years; this is far from it. ( )
