I was a little perplexed at how her dad seemed to run hot and cold -- sometimes very upset with her, sometimes winking at misbehaviors, often a little muddled in his ability to appear as a confident professional. That said, Julieta's crucial observations that helped her catch the thieves were very believably the kind of thing that a kid might notice and point out. I loved the romp through museums and famous Parisian sites, her love of Greek Mythology, and the thoughtful messages about not leaping to conclusions and about restoring stolen artifacts to their previous homes. I do think that the Versailles security's reactions were over the top for a kid jumping in a fountain, however. ( ) This mystery novel is definitely a good one. Nine year old Julieta has to help solve the case of a missing cursed diamond, and to clear her father's name so they can get back to Boston from Paris before her baby brother is born. Julieta has some mishaps as most nine year old children do. This book is great for getting the reader to critically think. In a math classroom you could have the student line up the clues in a logical way to help them progress their logical thinking. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
