As always, I absolutely love a trip to Lantern Beach. Ripple Effect is the third book in the Blackout series. This story focuses on Griff. Bethany, his ex-wife, shows up on his doorstep unexpectedly after someone tries to abduct their little girl. Griff has to go to work quickly to get to the bottom of what is going on because it becomes quite apparent that someone will stop at nothing to get to Bethany and Ada. This book is not lacking in heart-pounding action and page-turning suspense and of course the right amount of romance. What is unique this time is the budding romance is between exes. Will their relationship work this time? You'll have to read to find out. I cannot wait for the next installment of the Blackout series because there are still so many unanswered questions.

Although this can be read as a standalone, do yourself a favor and read the entire Lantern Beach series because this novel includes visits and updates from all the characters from Lantern Beach we as readers have grown to love.
