As Fanny Price intends to mourn her father for the full year, she is living in Portsmouth, and hoping that Mr Gibson will be patient. Meanwhile Edmund and Mary Bertram are living in Belfast. For any of these families is it possible for them to be happy with their circumstances.
A well-written and enjoyable finale to the series with its cast of well-developed and likeable characters. ( )
