A sweet book of two inseparable friends until one day Henry stops telling Bea anything. The two go on a field trip and find out what is wrong.

Henry and Bea were best friends, but suddenly Henry has withdrawn and won't talk to Bea. On a field trip, Henry finds a cat collar, and when Bea finds him in a hayloft, he reveals that his cat died. Bea listens and comforts him, and they rejoin the group.

Although this is a picture book, the children are definitely older - clearly in elementary school. It's nice to see a boy showing feelings, even crying, and working through sadness in a healthy way.
