ARC-REVIEW COPY Release Date-23/3/18 So Stockholm by Leigh Lennon Is one that really appealed to me when I read the blurb. And though I did enjoy this I wasn't overly fond of the writing style used here. The story in itself here was great. I just felt it jumped POV to often and sometimes I found myself a bit confused and lost within the timeline. I would have liked to have spent more time getting to know Nolan/Mikayla and David/Colette. as because of the way that this was told I didn't feel that connected to there story. Despite the above, this was an interesting read that did capture and keep my attention. One thing though, I didn't find "Stockholm" dark at all, it was actually quite sweet in its execution and intent. Overall I would describe this more as a saga with romantic overtures than an actual full-blown romance. In conclusion, I found this a unique read and I thought the twist at the end was a fabulous addition to the plot. So its a thumbs up from me. I was provided with an ARC of "Stockholm" By the author of which I have reviewed voluntary. All opinions expressed are entirely my own. Mikayla Miller wakes up one morning, bound to a bed, in a farmhouse in Alberta, Canada, with no recollection of how she got there. When she comes face to face with her captor, Mikayla can't deny the instant chemistry between them. The man she only knows as Nolan insists he's her protector, but lives by his own unique moral compass. As the days turn into months, Nolan's touch, his words, and the way he looks at her, ignite her body and soul. No matter how hard Mikayla fights their unmistakable connection they share, she begins to fall for him, and a new woman is created in her place.Back in the small town where Mikayla disappeared, two women reel from a shattering loss. When letters suddenly start appearing from Mikayla, twelve years later, they are left wondering why she'd choose her abductor over her own family.Love is complicated, and messy;but sometimes the heart can't help what it wants. For Mikayla Miller, it never was a choice.
