Trajan is an air witch, Harris a fauna witch and Nimue an earth witch. Nimue and her family are cursed and she kidnaps Harris hoping she can convince him to help her break the curse. Harris Barclay's anger quickly turns to concern once he sees what her curse is doing do the plants. Between his attraction to her and the concern for the plants he forgets to let his family knows he's okay. Trajan is hired to find and save Harris and ends up causing a magical incident when all three of their magics are used at the same time.

Overall I enjoyed this book, I thought the relationship building was good, there's a lot of world building, explaining that may make this a bit slower read for some.
