"Police investigator Susan Adler is ready to close the book on a deadly car accident, but after the medical examiner discovers evidence of foul play, she knows she has a murder on her hands. The victim was the wealthy wife of Randall Brock, a renowned psychiatrist who treats patients with disturbing, brutal fantasies. And just like that, Susan's got a suspect. Randall has a violent past but knows he didn't kill his wife. In the midst of his crushing grief, Randall receives a visit from a stranger with information to share about his wife's death. But there's a catch: in exchange for the stranger's information, Randall must reveal dark secrets he's kept hidden for years. As this shady figure applies more pressure and Susan closes in, Randall begins to doubt himself, clinging desperately to the pieces of his sanity. Revelations and suspicious coincidences send shock waves through the investigation, and circumstances spin out of control. Susan must race to put it all together before it's too late--before the next murder strikes too close to home."--Publisher description.… (plus d'informations)

I know Everything (Adler and Dwyer book # 0.75) by Matthew Ferrell
Police Investigator Susan Adler gets a case that seems open and close until the medical examiner deems it a murder not accidental. I am always up for a good psychological thriller especially one where I think I have it figured out, yet the author’s writing is so good that it leaves that reasonable doubt to keep you reading. This book did that and just when I thought I had it figured out but couldn’t figure out the why, how and even when, the author throws in plot twists that had me saying “Whoa wait, what the fuck”. When I tell you my anxiety was up reading this book, I am not even over exaggerating, lol. 5 out 5-star rating as far as I am concerned.
Highly recommend if you like suspense and psychological thriller. You can find this book in your local library and if you have kindle unlimited it is free to read.

I received a free e-copy of I Know Everything by Matthew Farrell from Net Galley and Thomas & Mercer in exchange for my review.

This is a dark mystery, that gets darker the further the investigation into a car accident that was no accident goes. Almost everyone is hiding something, and Farrell does a masterful job of revealing those secrets along the way.

I managed to guess a couple of the twists before they happened, but I was surprised many times through the course of this book. It’s a well-written, unsettling thrill ride from start to finish. Even as you turn the last page, you’re left wondering if you know everything or not (my guess is not). ( )

Psychologist Randall Brock has a pretty nice life with his wife Amanda who is beautiful and wealthy. He and his partner Peter Reems work with very disturbed individuals to help them overcome their dark fantasies. It's a nice, fulfilling life and things are going well.

Then one night Peter's wife is involved in a fatal accident. Inspector Susan Adler of the New York state police and her new partner, Tommy Corrola get the case and quickly rule out accident and realize that this was a murder. They quickly focus the investigation on Randall who is shocked and hurting from the loss of Amanda.

Enter Sam. Sam tells Randall that he knows Amanda's secrets and will share them with Randall and give Randall the proof to prove his innocence. But, before Sam will give him the proof, he wants Randall to confess his secrets. Then begins a wild ride, with a shocking twist at the end that I did not see coming.

If you like dark psychological thrillers definitely read this book! ( )
