This starts off pretty much right where the last book ended--with Ethan running. A couple of weeks later, he gets a call from his sister who needs help, and Ben happens to be around for this. The two guys reconnect and Ben (who has been in love with Ethan for years) jumps to help Ethan. Ethan isn't able to hide from his feelings anymore and decides that he doesn't want to.
These two connect again early in the book and there isn't a lot of angst in the relationship. There is mystery and action and things that keep you on your toes, but as far as Ethan and Ben go, they are real solid as a pair. They communicate, they interact, and they are open. It was beautiful.
This books was so well written, just like Shipped before it. I loved the story, the characters, and the writing. I am very much looking forward to book 3. The story of Ben and Ethan getting together was finished in this book, but more action is coming down the road with a cliffhanger to get you excited for the next set of characters. Bravo all around.
