I am totally digging this writing duo of Chelle Bliss & Eden Butler. This story is chock full of good stuff!! It is sexy, steamy, intense, dangerous and so many other things, I couldn't put it down. I loved Kane from Book 1 but his brother Kiel has overtaken the top spot between these two very sexy men in my eyes.
5 years ago Kiel married Cara thinking she was the love of his life and then she did the unthinkable and positively crushed him. Kiel learned a lot from that experience and is a different man today because of it. But he deep down even with all the hurt, his feelings for her didn't exactly die.
Cara comes from a very interesting family. She needs help, the kind only Kiel can give her, so she tricks him into meeting with her. She does not deserve his loyalty and protectiveness but he gives it anyway. He is amazing! I ended up liking her a lot more than I thought I would at first. She had her reasons for what she did in the past.
Now if they can only get through the danger they find themselves in, can they possibly rekindle their love and find that HEA that has eluded them up until now? We get more of Kane & Kit and Dale and Gin and even some new people to intrigue us like Cara's brother Johnny. Lot's of good characters adding to an already amazing story. Can't wait to see who is up next! Dale? Johnny? ( )
