Hayden Holmes. This guy. He is pure deliciousness. Decadent. savory. Sweet. We first met Hayden in book one of The Twisted Twosome, got to know him better in Three blind dates and also had an appearance in Back in the game. In each of these books, the audience was given the chance to see that this character was special. Yet, I had no idea how special until this book. I fell hard. He didn't need to be a bad boy, or an alphahole, or even just an alpha. He just had to be him. He was genuine. He was true. He was ultimately the perfect man.

This was not a "wham bam thank you man" moment. This was a man who truly fell for a woman and who wanted everything to be perfect. Who knew being a gentleman would be so sexy? Adalyn is the typical feisty female that this author writes so well. She is engaging, feisty, and in well over her head when it comes to Hayden. She does not stand a chance. Add in seeing so many favorite characters having cameos in this book made it that much better.

I adore anything that this author writes. She is my go-to romcom author. The only reason that this did not get five stars was because of a certain guy that I felt bad for that I really wanted to see him get his happy ending. I was frustrated by what came out and wished that it had either happened earlier in the book as the main conflict or that it had more resolution. All in all, I am still very sad that this trilogy of standalones is over. I cannot wait to see what this author does next. I can guarantee that whatever it is that it will be nothing short of amazing. ( )

Hayden lives by one mantra: "In it to win it!". As a rookie hockey player, he has to be on at all times. When a disappointment on the ice puts an early end to the season, restlessness sets in and a hometown visit rocks his world. Adalyn is the perfect distraction. She tries his patience, heats his blood and awakens his heart. Everything could be perfect, if he could read her mind and trust his heart. But the hits keep coming culminating in the ultimate surprise. Meghan Quinn scores nothing but net with One Baby Daddy. I'm no hockey fan, but I know romance. Adalyn and Hayden are aces with me. ( )

I blew through this book, I loved this series so much, and this book was the perfect end. I loved that the author brought together 2 different series, it was awesome to revisit some other characters. I love Hayden, not gonna lie, He and Adalyn are the perfect couple. Of course there are ups and downs, but overall this book is a sure fire winner. The pacing was perfect, there was never a dull moment. Told in dual pov. ( )

OH, How I loved this book. Just what I needed to read on Mother’s Day while relaxing on the couch. I had some good laughs that got me looks, and some tears, but not many, and the overall feeling of greatness from a wonderful book.

Meghan Quinn is known to me to make me laugh out loud, but this book gave me some serious fears, and longing for a HEA. I totally recommend this for anyone looking to escape reality for a bit. 5 STARS for SURE!!
