I'm not normally one to go for longer works, with a few high profile exceptions. I found Simmill's story engaging enough to keep the pages turning.
Make no mistake this is a fantasy book. Zoella, one of the main characters has no memory. There is something lurking in her past. There's a whole good vs bad scenario brewing from the get-go. Zoella and four others find themselves setting out together on an epic journey.
The plot is complex and can be a bit overwhelming. This isn't a book to skim through, it requires your full attention.
