I feel dumb for not realizing this sooner, but it's a fandom that I've never really gotten into. (also yes, this is a gross oversimplification of the appeal of anime fandom worlds, but I feel like this book and its exploratory nature fits in a puzzle piece that I've been missing for years). Cool, erotic, sexually exploratory/gender-beinding/polyamoryish cute, cute, comic. This is an erotic comic about the social and sexual adventures of a group of anime convention attendees. The cast of characters (and the sex scenes) are very diverse and the artwork is both cute and sexy. The book itself is beautiful, high-quality printing on thick paper with an unusual colour palette of greyscale + pale to bright pink. I thought the visuals were lovely and the characters were charming - my only wish would be for more backstory so that we could get to know the them a bit better. This is sort of like the world's most progressive porn video. The story bits we are offered between hardcore sex scenes are just sketches of the characters and their relationships with each other as the book is basically a series of vignettes about a diverse group of people at a fan convention. It's an interesting intersection of cosplay, cross-dressing and transgender issues, with the sex coming in quite a dazzling array of permutations. I only wish the book had been longer or sacrificed a few pages of sex so we could have gotten to know the characters a little more. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
