There is a trigger warning for suicide in the book, but it was only planned and not completed. I figured out what was going on before the end of the book, but I still couldn't put the book down. ( ) See my review here on insta: https://www.instagram.com/p/B0B9Jf3H2pd/?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet I really don't like horror for SO MANY reasons, but this was very readable in a page-turner way. A solid survival/horror mash-up for kids who want something scary. I really liked that there's a fat boy character who has some very cute romantic moments with his petite girlfriend, and the other characters treat him with affection and support. It doesn't seem like that should be so revolutionary, AND YET. Anyway, my deeply spoilery dissatisfaction with the story that won't matter for most teens, probs: aucune critique | ajouter une critique

After getting away with murder, Grant Tavish plans his own form of justice, but before he can act upon it a cave system collapse traps him and four other teenagers miles below the surface, where they soon discover that they aren't alone.
Involved in a fatal accident, Grant Tavish is willing to face the consequences. But being a senator's son means getting away with murder-- despite the headlines of "affluenza". During a cave excursion on the Appalachian trail Grant seizes the opportunity to take justice into his own hands by staging an accident and never coming back. When the cave system really collapses, he's trapped miles beneath the surface with four other teens from much less fortunate circumstances. As they struggle to survive, they share their innermost secrets and fears. Soon they realize there's something else down there. And it's hunting them ... -- adapted from jacket.
