Read the stories of the real people and events that shaped American history. This nonfiction chapter books has full-page illustrations include historical photos, maps, a timeline, a glossary, and a bibliography at the back. In addition to the historical chapters, an American Girl historical character shares a bit of her own fictional story in a journal entry format. Each chapter covers a significate event during the timeline of the story. At the end of almost every chapter a journal entry from the American Girl historical character is included, which portrays what the character would be thinking and feeling during this time. This helps to confirming the historical information you had just read. Historical information is well researched and written for age group. I particularly enjoyed reading about the key historical figures from the events. ( ) aucune critique | ajouter une critique
