This was a great book! I loved the characters and the twists in the story. A great novel that really makes you think with a lot of action to keep you interested until the end. Highly recommended read! I received a copy of this book in exchange for an unbiased review. ( )

Tsara receives an unexpected invitation from her Uncle Cass, who she has not seen for decades due to a falling-out between Uncle Cass and her late father.

Wealthy Uncle Cass and family give employment to many in the nearby village so they are popular, but not with all. Jealousy, maybe?

Given the best suite in her uncle’s castle, Tsara is prepared to enjoy a magical no-expense-spared party.

Dinner and dancing go well and Tsara returns to her suite.

Then it all goes wrong!

Lots of tension as the story unfolds – a worthwhile read. ( )

Wrong Place Wrong Time by Tibia Klebenov Jacobs
As the story opens, Tsara is attempting to decide whether or not she wants to attend a party her estranged uncle is throwing. After speaking with her husband and brother, she decides to go and finds herself in the wrong place at the wrong time when she becomes an unintended kidnap victim. WRONG PLACE, WRONG TIME tells the story of the kidnapping and how it affects the lives of those involved and their families.
I am not sure how much I really liked or disliked this story. Honestly at times I couldn't put the story down. Then at others I had to go do something else, to keep from merely skimming the pages as it was a little long winded to me.
For me the beginning and middle were the best. I found the story of the kidnapping and return of Tsara well written and interesting. I thought the descriptions of the kidnapping itself as well as the events occurring after excellent. It was the portion after Tsara is returned home I really didn't care for. I found all the last portion boring and unintriguing as I could care less about finding baby sitters and pet sitters. I thought this took away from the story. ( )

First, I received this e-book from NetGalley for my review and enjoyment.
Having just finished Jacob's book, Second Helpings at the Serve You Right Cafe, I was anxious to read this novel. Her story starts out in a beautiful, lakeside estate in New Hampshire at the home of Tsara's wealthy uncle, unseen for many years. When the kidnapping of Tsara, the main character, happens – the story moves on from there in the town of Libertyville, New Hampshire. There are many twists and turns, many characters involved, but it is all very easy to follow, and speeds along as the story becomes more thrilling. The reason I did not give this 5 stars was the length – at times I was turning pages rapidly to get to the next part, to see what develops. I will continue to be a fan of Tilia Jacobs – she is a good find!! ( )

Great book! The suspense keeps you reading & wanting more!
Tsara is one tough lady and a survivor. She gets kidnapped & has a weekend from hell. Her captor holds her as collateral for the return of his son. Through all the ordeals Tsara keeps her wits & is eventually released. Her troubles are from over. She's in need of professional help for the trauma that she's been through but she finds kindness in her heart for her captor and works at trying to forgive him. ( )
