Always loved his work. His fantasy pictures take you into other worlds and perfectly compliment the works of Michael Moorcock, who i read extensively at the time. ( )

I first came across the art of Rodney Matthews in my late teens/early twenties - many moons ago. I was drawn into the fantastical worlds that he pictured, imagining just who or what lived in those worlds. It was a time when I was also reading a great deal of fantasy.

Picking up the book from the shelf today (20 some odd years since I first came across his work - but not this book), I was just as drawn to the world in the pictures as I was back then, could still spend as much time poring over each page so for me it still gets 5 stars ( )
