I was introduced to The I Ching Workbook back in the mid-80's and it was truly an answer to my hopes of finding a legitimate Western interpretation of this ancient process. This workbook never fails to surprise me and those I have offered I Ching readings. It seems the more pressing the inquiry the greater the details of insight and perspective offered through the interpretations. The comparison of the long term evolution of the I Ching to that of the development of the Farmer's Almanac helps explain the nature of the 5,000 years of human observation incorporated into the 64 hexagrams. This workbook offers a concise review of the history as well as descriptions on just how to utilize and extrapolate the wisdom from this ancient 'technology.' ( ) I have this book in English and German, In fact I have bought several copies over the years as it is a workbook and I have filled them all out and needed a new one. It is standard straightforward I Ching, and for the novice a good starting place and for the expert it make an easy way to journal your readings. I give a good rating mainly because it's like a dictionary, you alway go back to it and and makes for easy reference in an easy to understand format. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
