Again, I read the first one and liked it a lot. When I got this one I thought I might be bored because I was aware of the personalities but was surprised to find myself liking the second book even more than the first one which I liked! Well done! ( )

When her fiancé gives Blair Mallory a deadline for their wedding, she finds herself immersed in dresses, cakes, flowers and seating plans. However, an almost hit-and-run in a mall parking lot together with crank calls and a strange car convince Blair that she is being targeted once again. Wyatt, however, is skeptical. Who has it in for her now and can she convince Wyatt before it is too late?

An entertaining sequel with all of the humor, charm and sexy times that characterized the first book.

The mystery this time around is predictable and it is possible to guess the culprit right out of the gate. Nevertheless, the build up of the stalker plot toward the inevitable showdown is intense and exciting.

As in the previous book, Blair and Wyatt's romance is incredible. Their chemistry certainly hasn't waned one little bit, and they have some smokin' hot scenes together. Blair is as snarky and cute as before, but Wyatt has one or two questionable moments that almost had him joining the Anti-Hottie Harem. Thankfully, he comes through in the end and retains his Hottie status!

In sum, the Blair Mallory series is light, fun and sexy. Recommended for lovers of Linda Howard as well as those new to her books.

This story is so ridiculous and annoying that I am being quite generous with my one star. I'm about ready to give up on Ms. Howard. The main character is childlike. The audiobook narrator is one of the worst I've heard (and I've heard PLENTY.) Her rapid, pressured speech and horrendous male voices was enough to make me want to scream. Gave up after only 2 CDs. Book going in the garbage....something I've never done in my 56 years of chain reading. ( )

This second Blair Mallory book was a decent story and I enjoyed reading it. It was almost predictable that each of their ex's in each story was the culprit. ( )

This is the only book of Linda Howards that I do not like.
The first in the series (To Die For) was amazingly funny and flat out fantastic. The second outing was horrible.
By the end of the book I didn't think the Wyatt deserved Blair. Not in any way. He was a complete donkey's end and too stupid to live. Literally too stupid to walk and breathe at the same time.
I also want to say that Linda Howard is on my "auto buy that now wait is it a reissue/rename... YES new book buy buy buy" list. I have read every book I could get my hands on. Mr. Perfect, Dream Man, Cover of Night, Burn and yes To Die For are special favorites. Also the MacKenzie series... all of it! Please if this is the only book you've ever read of hers go borrow Mr. Perfect or Dream Man or Cover of Night. ( )
