Chargement... The Key to Zion (1988)par Bodie Thoene
![]() Aucun Actuellement, il n'y a pas de discussions au sujet de ce livre. ![]() How many of us know a lot about how Israel rose from obscurity to suddenly become a nation in 1948? That's what made this book interesting to me--learning about a part of history that is truly an incredible story. There are multiples stories going on in the book, about the residents of Jerusalem, Jewish and Arab, who are trying to survive in the midst of the intense fighting over their city. And there are also a couple of Americans somehow involved in the quest to train and develop a Jewish air squadron--but they are on a run for their lives. I found it a bit hard to get equally into all these stories. Some moments I enjoyed the characters and scenes, some moments I just wanted to get to the next scene. My favorite was the Arab girl who found hope after being rescued by a Jewish/Christian couple. Read this one if you are interested in history--particularly history of interest to Christians and/or those interest in the saga of the Middle East conflict. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
