He refuses to walk away from a woman as intriguing as she is frustrating. Let the battle begin. Casual Affair is creatively smart, immensely sexy and the dialogue is the best in naughty word play. Received an ARC for my fair review for netgalley. It was Ok, they both annoyed me to a certain degree. I think they forgot that they were adults and had to let things go. Bea was hurt by an ex-boyfriend when she was in college and she ended up holding on to that resentment and living her life by not getting into any relationships because of it. Then she meet Zane, a handsome Brit, and she is extremely attracted to, but she does not want to mix business with pleasure, however they do not really stand a chance with that, they both give it, because Zane goes after her. Now Zane, lost his mother as a child, and apparently, he wont leave London permanently because he visits his mothers grave three times a week because he feels responsible for her death. what? He was a kid, Yeah that was ridiculous. So, they are both stubborn, and both needed to be told by loved ones, that they needed to reevaluate there relationship, and luckily for them, they do. ( )
