While there was a quite a bit of erotica in it, Lee Savino worked it into the story very well and I never had the opinion it was thrown in there just to put it in there. I enjoyed the characters, but would have liked a bit more building to Brenna's character, however, that could be fixed by reading the first book. The story was interesting enough that I will be seeking the third book to find out what happens to Brenna, Samual, and Daegan.
Another aspect I enjoyed was the simplicity of the story. It made for a fun, enjoyable read that left me wanting to read until I finished the story. (
