Got a recommendation to read this book from other fans of Dee Henderson and Dani Pettrey. Definitely an excellent read! Looking forward to books 2 and 3! ( )

Deadly Proof is definitely an impossible-to-put-down book. Well written, suspenseful, and full of all sorts of legal jargon. This is the first book I've read by Rachel, but definitely plan to read more of her books! I'll be passing them on to my daughter, as well. ( )

I have to admit, I had very low expectations for this book, so was pleasantly surprised when it was better than I thought.

The story was very different than any I've read before, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Both Kate and Landon were interesting characters and I enjoyed their stories. The legal aspect was interesting and enlightening. I really loved the romance. Sweet and slow, just how I like it.

There were a couple of minor inconsistencies with the characters that bugged me a bit, but like I said, they were very minor. Also, the legelese was pretty intense. I had a hard time understanding what on earth the characters were talking about for a good portion of the book. It's clear Dylan is very knowledgeable on this subject, but for the laymen readers like me, it would have been nice if she had simplified things a little.

All in all, I did enjoy this book, and am interested in reading the next one. ( )
