Three action-packed novellas starring a lawyer and a cop…Gabe and Jo are perfectly matched and a whole lot of fun to read about as they work out who is selling high end counterfeit merchandise, deal with a murderer and fall in love with one another.
THE CHASE:
Jo and Gabe have been working together for several months before this story begins. Jo is intelligent but impatient and this can get her into trouble. Gabe is a more by the book sort of guy and wanting to keep her safe is not easy. They locate the main importer of the fakes and then he disappears so…
THE EVASION:
The story picks up six weeks later with a tip that leads Jo and Gabe to North Carolina in search of the importer that got away from them in New York. With threats, a bomb and growth of their relationship before they head home victorious this is another fun read. And, at the end of this story Jo is asked to go to Los Angeles to help them set up a team like the one in New York so…
THE CAPTURE:
3 weeks later Gabe is on his way to spend a bit of vacation time with Jo. Jo, being Jo, has managed to get herself put in the crosshairs again by being the only witness able to identify a murderer. With a vacation interrupted, a bad guy to apprehend and bikers to deal with the couple are kept busy throughout the story. There is a HEA ending that might lead to more in the series or not but it does lead to Jo and Gabe heading on together as a couple.
