Review The plot is pretty common and formulaic as is often the case with this line of books (Love Inspired). Boy meets girl, they fall in love, but there's some reason they feel they can't be together, then the reason gets solved (or they admit to each other that they love each other) and they live happily ever after. That's pretty much the case for this book as well.

It is interesting that we don't see in ourselves what others see in us. (Nick's thinking he wouldn't make a good father when many others see that he would.) I do also agree that some kids just need to know that there are people who love them (preferably parents, but in the case of many of the boys at the ranch, they need someone else to fulfill that role.
