I enjoyed this book. The hero has lost his wife in death and has children to look after, so of course he needs a wife. The heroine is brought up in society and feels its empty and worthless and wants to live a different life. The characters are like-able and the interaction between the children add to the depth of the story.

This is the 3rd book in the series but you don't need to read the others first. Although you will be missing out if you don't read them at all because they are all very good! Hope's Crossing is a sweet little town with wonderful people and the mail order brides just add to it. Each of the brides has a very interesting story behind why they became mail order brides and provide some mystery to the romances. This time the groom is a single father who needs a mother for his children. He's not really looking for a wife for himself but his bride has other ideas. Great storyline!

I received a free copy from NetGalley for an honest review. Bella is running away from an arranged marriage and her only option to escape is as a mail0order bride. Alex needs a wife to help him raise his daughters and they seem to be matched. However, Bella didn't anticipate falling in love. She now has to teach Alex to love her. The storyline was sweet but my only critique is that is seemed too fairy-tale like for Bella to fall in love so quickly with a stranger. Overall, it was a nice read. (
