Our protagonist is named after a drug that suppresses vomiting. He hails from a violent and ugly and compulsion-driven future. He is obsessed by a vision that said violent and ugly and compulsion driven future is both bad and arose in the wake of a string of violent and ugly assassinations that happened in the late 60s USA. Repeatedly, illegally, and to all appearances futilely, Scop uses time travel technology to come back to the past to try to undo those assassinations. While he’s at it, he stops to not very effectively rape a woman from time to time.
Very dark yet funny. Definitely not for everyone. ( )
