Why do they happen, how strong are they and how can you prevent the amount of damage are the main topics in this book. A further interesting chapter about the most famous hurricanes in the United States is added. This work will probably raise the children's interests in storms, hurricanes, tornadoes, etc. Many aspects of hurricanes, like how and why they form, how they are categorized, and what they are capable of doing, is discussed. The book would be great for students in areas like Southeast Louisiana to see hurricanes from a different perspective. For instance, even though I have lived in the New Orleans area all my life, the book gave me a different perspective on hurricanes and a less egocentric view. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
