I would use this book in a classroom to connect science to reality. I could read a passage from the book and have students explain the connection to what content is currently being taught. ( )

Fantastic book detailing not only incredible sports achievements and the athletes behind them... but also the science that made it all possible. This is a great practical application of physics, and its exciting to see how much room for innovation there is, even in events that have been around for hundreds of years. Also nice to note: the book features both men and women athletes, as well as athletes with disabilities. ( )
