I have been a fan of Storm’s for quite some time, but time constraints have meant I rarely get an open opportunity to enjoy her books. I was excited when I had a chance to sit, with my kindle, and start this read. Little did I know I wouldn’t be able to put it down! Yes, I loved the book. I actually read it over two nights, to the hubby’s s despair, as I may be slightly less approachable after reading all night, but it was so worth it. This book is really exciting. It was said that if you like Pretty Little Liars and the like, that this book is for you. So true. I like the series, well at first, and this book had the twists turns, crazy mysteries, secrets and those who want to ruin things. It has the small town feel and the fact that everyone knows everyone, and everything about them, and if you don’t fit in you are in trouble. However, this book is so much better than that series! Our main is a character who just so happens to not fit in, not truly at least, with all the town. This leads to a lot of surprises and sneaking about, trying to solve mysteries. I loved it. The detail that Storm put into the characters really meant that they had real lives and were very easy to connect with and really get to know. The story and surrounding world were just as detailed. This meant that I latched on to the story and really became part of it. I found it easy to feel as though I was there, watching as all the angst and action passed. Overall, this is a brilliant book. I cannot wait for another to come out! **I received this book for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion. aucune critique | ajouter une critique

I loved the complexity of the characters and was pleasantly surprised with this novel. I sailed right through it and I’m looking forward to the next book in this series, "Texas and Tiaras". I've not heard of these two authors before but they did a great collaboration with this novel.
I would like to thank NetGalley and Blue Crown Press for providing me with an e-galley in exchange for my honest review. ( )
